Kirk G. Meyer is a Cherokee Citizen and proud graduate of Haskell Indian Nations University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He went on to earn multiple graduate degrees in business, accounting, and financial planning, building a strong academic foundation that complemented his extensive career in public service.
With over 25 years of government experience, Kirk has served as an Awarding Official implementing PL 93-638 Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (ISDEAA) contracts on behalf of the federal government. Kirk looks forward to applying this vast experience to help Tribal governments strengthen and succeed in their operations. Beyond his federal career, Kirk gives back to Native communities as an adjunct business instructor at Bay Mills Community College, where he brings real-world financial and administrative expertise into the classroom to support the next generation of Native leaders.
